Larry Nisan, M.Ed.

Larry is presently the Executive Director of the Psychotherapy Institute and the Creator and Founder of Protective Parenting. His appearances on numerous national and regional television shows and radio programs have made him a familiar figure to thousands. He has also championed the rights of children to be protected throughout his career; first, as a school teacher and counselor, family counselor, psychotherapist, consultant, and lecturer.

Larry’s career has also included championing the rights of women to be protected from abuse and has published a Severity of Violence Matrix as well as performing the function of marriage counseling with both a broad sense of humour and a very careful focus on helping make relationships work. He has also published the NITI (Nisan Intimacy Task Inventory) and a soon to be released book entitled “Making Love Work”. Larry is particularly well known in the psychotherapy field for his work with people of all ages and all cultures. He has published the NILT (Nisan Inventory of Life Tasks) which quickly establishes a person's strengths and weaknesses. He is also President of Individual Education International spreading egalitarian education around the globe.
